About the Role 
  • Working across the whole product cycle from research, design, build and implementation to production release and QA testing.
  • New component-driven design system - responsible for the design and implementation of custom iconography, typography, colour palette, responsive grids and a component library.
  • Designing to W3C accessibility standards
  • Wireframes, user flows, high fidelity designs, prototypes and handover documentation.
  • Iterative design process working with user insights across the often unique and complex data sources.
  • Collaborating closely with a newly Agile product team of a UX designer, backend and frontend developers, product owners and stakeholders.
  • Workshops and QA with backend and frontend developers, including API design and frontend releases.
  • Presenting and running workshops with various stakeholders and SMEs to establish business needs and requirements.
  • Working closely with a User researcher to plan and run relevant research and usability testing sessions.
About You 
  • UI/UX all-rounder 
  • Experience translating wireframes into development ready interface designs
  • Solid understanding of user-centred approaches and passionate in understanding users needs and behaviour
  • Experience using programs such as Jira, Confluence, Google analytics, Zeplin, Sketch and Adobe CC 
  • Agency experience is desirable 
  • Proficiency in clickable prototypes
  • Front-end development knowledge/experience desirable
  • Knowledge or experience of Agile methodologies
  • Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch and Invision
  • Demonstrated portfolio of previous design work
