About the Role
  
This role will involve coordination and delivery of stakeholder meetings and taking the lead on providing industry engagement advice and support for the projects of this team. The role also provides advice and leadership to support the work of the team.
  
Key accountabilities include:
  
  • Provide strategic advice on the effective management of emerging stakeholder issues and concerns and work on behalf of stakeholders to resolve problems
  • Delivery high quality support for stakeholder meetings - coordinating meeting administration, recommending agendas, facilitating actions and writing business papers and minutes
  • Work collaboratively with the team in providing insights into key stakeholder relationship issues
  • Provide a range of engagement support and advisory services to assist with the delivery of team and projects
  • Advocating for the customer experience and demonstrating a commitment to strong evidence-based decision making
  • Ensuring an alignment of strategies across the branch and broader agency
  • Analysing complex issues and where appropriate, exercise sound knowledge of precedent to make a judgement call on how to deal with issues .
  
About You
  • Tertiary qualifications or demonstrated relevant experience in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or a similar discipline
  • Experience dealing with a  wide range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience in developing communication plans/content and leading execution of corporate communication plans, within a customer-focused environment
  • Ability to review and comment on complex sensitive engagement materials
  • A self-starter who can work through ambiguity in a fast-paced and politically sensitive environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a great team
