About the Role
 
The Senior Project Officer develops and coordinates the creation, implementation and evaluation of strategies, programs and projects to build and maintain strong connections and partnerships between a diverse range of customers and industry stakeholders.  A 5-month contract until 30th September (with possible extension), this role is located in Parramatta, has WFH flexibility, and is paying up to $700 per day + super. Key accountabilities include:
  • Design and implement strategies, projects and initiatives for the organisation to partner and connect with industry, employers, the community and other stakeholders to provide information and improve their understanding of the VET programs and services available.
  • Establish and maintain strong connections and partnerships with the organisation’s customers and stakeholders.
  • Develop, implement and monitor partnership agreements and contracts to ensure program priorities are met.
  • Monitor and evaluate customer connection and partnership initiatives, programs and strategies including risk and contingency management, to identify and address, or escalate where necessary, issues to support their timely resolution.
  • Initiate and manage projects to grow and maintain the organisation’s connections and partnerships.
  • Undertake research and formulate recommendations to enhance the organisation’s connections and partnerships and participation in and completion of vocational education and training.
  • Source information and prepare accurate and complex correspondence, briefings, reports, presentations and other materials to a high standard
About You
  • Strong stakeholder engagement experience, has the ability to provide expert advice on project-related matters, report and update on project progress, engage and consult in the resolution of project issues
  • Experience in guidance, support, coaching and mentoring team members and providing advice and directions
  • Influence and Negotiation Skills
  • Skills in problem solving and critical analysis
  • Demonstrates Accountability
  • Has extensive experience in procurement, contract management, and project management
  • Previous experience in education, government, or career industry is ideal
