This NSW government agency is a major service provider who strives to deliver a more consistent and efficient experience within government. This government agency uses data and behavioural insights to drive improvements with government and providing services to NSW. We are looking for someone to start ASAP for a 5-month contract paying up to $687.30 per day inc. super. This role is located in Macquarie Park, Sydney.


About the Role


The role is responsible for developing and implementing communication plans and educational content and materials that drive engagement, influence behaviors and supports the departments partners. This will establish strong relationships with key audience groups. The role will also ensure that consistent, timely and seamless messaging reaches relevant stakeholder internally and externally.


Key accountabilities include:


  • Support the design and development of key engagement plans and educational content and materials that communicate of key messages and initiatives.
  • Create internal and external collateral including articles, online content, channels management, newsletters, emails, video, presentation, reports and resources to support activation.
  • Provide senior leaders with internal communications materials and support to equip them with relevant messaging to deliver expected outcomes.
  • Collaborate with in-house resources and external partners to help create and communicate compelling stories that demonstrate the divisions value to people and external stakeholders.
  • Develop, implement and report on appropriate metrics that evaluate the success and impact of education and engagement strategies. 
  • Review and improve business systems and processes. 
  • Report on activities, performance, trends and issues against plans and budgets. 

About You

  • Ability to operate with autonomy in determining day to day work priorities.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing communication content and leading execution of engagement plans.
  • A self-starter who can work through ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written communication skills- demonstrated experience in preparing communications materials for a variety of channels and audiences.
