This NSW government agency is a major service provider who strives to deliver a more consistent and efficient experience within government. This government agency uses data and behavioural insights to drive improvements with government and providing services to NSW.  We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible for a 6-month contract paying up to $1200per day excluding super.  This role is located in Parramatta + WFH
 

About the Role
  Provides guidance, leads and undertakes planning with a team of developers for the creation and changes to large or complex applications to facilitate the achievement of business outcomes. This role provides expert advice and coaching across technical areas, or targeted to deep specialised knowledge in a particular area. Key accountabilities include:
 
  •  Maintain and improve security reference architecture to account for current and emerging security capabilities • Produce required security documentations and reference patterns • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders throughout project lifecycle to  ensure security controls are accounted for at design stage

  • Govern and review project compliance 
  • Contribute to the definition, delivery and across clusters alignment of DCS security strategy 

 
About You
 
  •  5 years experience in security architecture roles 
  • Results driven, able to lead and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive security capability within large scale environment
  • Experience in implementing security reference architecture frameworks and operating models for ICT projects across complex environment
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of security and industry standards or frameworks including SABSA, ISO27000 series, NIST and ISMS
  • Strong background in broad range of security domains including and not limited to user rights management and access, data security protection, application security, network security, end point and host security
  • Demonstrated experience with and understanding of cloud technology, practices, policies and controls to protect data in cloud infrastructure including and not limited to Azure and AWS environment
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skill to build credibility and collaboration
