About the role

This is a contract role provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced Salesforce administrator to help drive and participate in the growing adoption of Salesforce technologies within this government department. 

The major responsibilities include: 
  • APEX
  • Visualforce
  • SOQL
  • Lightening Design System
  • Object-Oriented programming concepts and design patterns, as well as prior work with OO languages (Java, Ruby, C#, C++, etc.)
  • HTML, AJAX, jQuery and Web Services (both SOAP and REST API’s)
  • MVC (Model View Controller) design pattern
  • relational databases, including work with SQL Server or other common RDBMS
Deliverables
  • Salesforce Administration and support
  • Deliver ongoing Salesforce enhancements and minor changes
  • Ensure data issues are identified and root cause addressed
  • Liaising with third party development teams
  • Training and functionality walk-through for existing and new staff

About You
  • Extensive experience as a Salesforce Administrator (3+ years)
  • Salesforce.com customisation (APEX, Visual Force) and understanding of the Force.com platform
  • Experience with web services and API's
  • Strong out-of-the-box functional knowledge and experience
  • Salesforce development experience desirable
  • Building (or implementing from specifications) customer- or public-facing web-based user interfaces, with a deep understanding of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
  • Building Apex Classes, Triggers, Visualforce pages and Custom Controllers
