This government agency uses data and behavioural insights to drive improvements with government and providing services to NSW. We are looking for someone to start ASAP for a 12 month contract paying up to $1100 P/D Incl Super. This role is located in Parramatta (hybrid).     
About the Role
The Project Manager (PMO Manager) will be working on a Workplace Transformation project that aims to improve the experience and satisfaction of both staff and clients, ensuring improved accessibility, inclusivity and equality in our workplaces and front-line service centres. Ultimately, the Project Manager will manage the PMO supporting the  portfolio of workplace, refurbishment and relocation projects and programs
Key accountabilities include:
  • Co-ordinating all governance papers, secretariat responsibilities and actions
  • Working as a natural organiser who is excited by structure, governance and process
  • Holding people and tasks to account
  • Managing all reporting to inform timely decision making, effective use of budget, resources and management of risks and issues 
  • Streamlining and automating processes, templates, reporting and workflow to ensure efficient management of time and knowledge 
  • Facilitating effective communication and collaboration across all workstreams, efficiently identifying portfolio level interdependencies, risks and resolving issues 
  • Ensure on time/budget delivery of the portfolio 
  • Coaching the team, building our capability and maturity to constantly improve our skills
  • Manage delivery assurance for the portfolio from concept to benefits realisation working closely with the Capital Works PMO
About You
  • Demonstrated experience managing successful PMOs, with extensive experience in projects and programs ensuring robust planning, progress reporting, governance and assurance.
  • Experience operating a PMO for large and complex projects, programs or portfolios
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing robust processes, managing overall governance and controls 
  • Relevant certifications
  • Previous government experience a big plus
