About the Role

These positions will provide administrative and project support to the Principal Project Manager, and other divisional leaders in the department. These teams are involved in the development and delivery of the digital learning environment and capability across the state.
 
General Responsibilities
  • Coordinate administrative tasks to support projects, including document productions and collation of materials, travel and accommodation arrangements, and meeting coordination in a timely and effective manner
  • Assist with financial and workforce transactional activities, including purchasing, invoice processing; ensure adherence to Departmental policies and processes
  • Provide high quality customer service by answering or redirecting of general enquiries received via telephone, email and other communication methods in an attentive and timely manner
  • Proactively identify opportunities to continually improve efficiency and effectiveness across the project and team
  • Establish and maintain filing and records management systems, including registers and databases; create and maintain appropriate records
  • Coordinating complex and diverse project requirements in an environment categorised by competing priorities, tight deadlines and legislative frameworks with team members and stakeholders.
Administrator Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Principal Officer and team
  • Collaborate with the role supervisor, project staff and others in the department to establish and maintain procedures to support the administrative requirements of the project
Coordinator Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and participate in project activities, including meetings, schedules (Agile and Waterfall), resourcing, financials, project reports and reviews.
  • Provide administrative support to the team.
  • Collaborate with the role supervisor, project staff and others in the department to establish and maintain procedures to support the administrative requirements of the project
 About you
  • 3+ years of experience in project coordination or project administration
  • Government experience highly regarded
  • Techniques and methods in project and/or change management.
  • Project coordination and problem-solving skills
  • Implementation of projects and processes
  • Working with children’s check and police check required
  • Immediately available candidates preferred
  • Citizenship or Permanent residency required
