About the Role


We are currently seeking an IT Procurement Specialist to join a NSW Government Agency. This role will sit between both a project based and BAU functional team. The client is seeking a professional who is highly experienced in software procurement, specifically in the tendering and contracts phases.

  • Provide technical procurement expertise on policies, procedures to stakeholders

  • Assist stakeholders on procurement planning, development, sourcing and management

  • Work with business stakeholders to develop innovative procurement and category management strategies providing a value for money outcome

  • Proactively identify and address procurement risks and mitigation strategies to meet organisational compliance requirements

  
About You

  • Demonstrated experience in IT or Software Procurement

  • Demonstrated knowledge of end to end procurement cycle

  • Advanced skills working within the tendering and contract phases of procurement

  • Ability to communicate complex information to stakeholders
