About the Company

This NSW government agency is a major service provider who strives to deliver a more consistent and innovative experience within the development of New South Wales government. Our client is looking for a Project Officer to provide project management support services with a focus on HR, recruitment and workforce management.

About the Role

  • Coordinating large-scale campaigns across multiple teams
  • Conducting comparative and suitability assessments as panel member including drafting selection panel report, scheduling candidates for interview timeslots, developing, organising and administering work sample assessment tasks, conducting reference checks
  • Mailbox management including handling issues and escalations
  • Talent pool maintenance/management and candidate care
  • Support for temporary extensions, conversions from temporary to ongoing, and activation off talent pool requests
  • General support for program and project management initiatives including graduate rotation program and other development and engagement initiatives
  • General administration including filing confidential documents, use of Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel and Powerpoint

About You

  • Solid understanding of HR and recruitment with minimum basic understanding of GSE Act
  • Previous customer service within complex organisation and NSW state government experience
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Microsoft Office - basic Excel, intermediate Word and basic Powerpoint
  • Clear and concise report writing ability
