About the Company

We are currently recruiting a HR Advisor for a NSW government organisation based in Sydney Olympic park. This is a 12 month contract paying $60 per hour + super.

About the Role

  • Interpret and provide timely and accurate advice and services across the people and culture remit to ensure consistency and positive productive workforce solutions.
  • Undertake research and analysis and prepare documentation and reports on workforce information and trends and make recommendations to inform workforce planning and people and culture service delivery.
  • Coach and advise stakeholders on a range of HR solutions to support business strategies, plans and priorities and maintain fit for purpose services to meet agency objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in HR service delivery, including assessing and updating HR methods, procedures and processes, to deliver consistent quality outcomes that reflect innovative and appropriate HR service standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to provide to support business outcomes and facilitate a positive work environment.
  • Prepare a range of project-related documents for key stakeholders as required, including status updates, reports, budgets and discussion papers to manage the flow of information and coordinate working groups, committees and consultations to facilitate exchange of information and support engagement.
  • Draft correspondence, written reports, publications, and briefs, that are informative and aligned with agency requirements, to respond to Agency and/or Government requests.
  • Support collaborative research relevant to people and culture initiatives to assess applicability for implementation as best practice.

About You

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline and/or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • An ability and willingness to travel within NSW.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
