About the role:
Contribute to procurement effectiveness by designing, implementing and continually improving procurement policies, processes and procedures and by delivering research, analytics and insights on cost structures, suppliers, market indicators and internal expenditure opportunities.  
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of procurement process improvements initiatives by managing initiatives across the project lifecycle, including the scoping of requirements, development of approach, management of process mapping and redesign, documentation of outcomes and management of multiple stakeholders.
  • Conduct data gathering, analysis and process documentation activities relevant to process improvement initiatives
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews of new processes to identify further improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain and manage all Corporation-Wide procurement policies, procedures, processes and tools
  • Provide research, analytics, insights and reporting support to category management, including the analysis of cost structures, supplier research, market indicators and expenditure opportunities in order to identify alternate procurement strategies/suppliers, tender analysis and new products and services.
  • Provide data and analytics to inform business cases, hypothesis development, benefits tracking for tenders and contracts and to support the development of sourcing strategies
  • Provide data and analytical tools and methodologies, including data modelling and statistical analysis techniques to improve procurement outcomes and support decision making.
  • Develop information collection methods, perform surveys, research and analytical studies to support decision making in respect of procurement.
  • Collect and interpret supplier performance data and provide feedback to procurement teams and Business divisions.
  • Deliver tools and training to build Corporation–Wide procurement skills and capability across process, technology and ways of working.
  • Provide data and support to the procurement contribution to the Quality Management System- ISO 9001 certification.
  • Support the identification of procurement risks and the implementation and monitoring of controls
About you:
  • Systems experience required: ARIBA, FMIS, SAP S4 HANA, MAXIMO
  • Various modelling, analytics, and reporting tools
  • Stakeholder management across a diverse group of leaders.
  • 4+ years’ experience working in procurement analytics in a large complex organisation, preferably in a similar organisation or industry sector
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering on policy, procedure, and process improvement across the procurement
  • Demonstrated experience in research, systems, data mining and analytics, modelling and information presentation
  • Demonstrated experience in complex spend analytics and commercial benchmarking
  • Demonstrated experience in applying best-in-class analytical tools and technique, including but not limited to Power BI, developing, and maintaining data cleansing and mapping rules
  • Immediately available candidates preferred
