About the role 

Reporting to the Finance Manager you will play an integral role in the Finance Department, you will be performing a wide range of functions and will work in a team of 2 others and assist with various duties including:
  • Data entry 
  • Daily Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations
  • End to end Accounts Payable & Receivable
  • Debt Collection
  • Assisting in Cashflow Monitoring and Budgeting
  • Raising POs
  • Processing payments
  • Allocating payments
  • Setting up temporary employees in our payroll system on Astute 
  • Chasing candidates and clients for time-sheet approvals
  • Award interpretation and classification
  • Processing weekly temporary payroll (200 + employees)
  • Generating and distributing weekly margin reporting
  • Managing the payroll inbox 
  • Responding to client queries, via telephone and email correspondence
 
About the candidate 
  • Previous experience in a similar role – especially high volume 
  • Experience and knowledge of associated Microsoft packages - in particular Excel (intermediate and above competency required)
  • Experience in MYOB is essential 
  • End to end payroll experience essentials
  • Have high attention to details, focus in on completing the work with accuracy;
  • Has a professional phone manner and maintain a professional demeanor;
  • Has good time management skills. enjoy working in a thriving, fast paced environment;
  • Ability to work independently and within a team & willing to work extra hours if the need arises
