About the role
The DevOps Engineer works with developers and the IT staff to oversee the code releases, combining an understanding of both engineering and coding. Assist other DevOps with project goals and tasks, develop system software’s that improve productivity and analyse data to improve current systems. Ideal candidates will have strong experience using AWS, Python, and experience with Kubernetes is highly desired.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee code releases using combined knowledge from engineering and coding
- Creating and implementing system software’s to analyse data, improving current systems
- Assist other DevOps with project tasks and goals
- Use strong analytic and technical skills to assist with project
- Enhance system and team productivity
- Develop digital pipelines (CI/CD pipelines)
- Communicate with Wipro, providing support (no hands on)
- Translate actions and tech terms to Project Managers
About you
- 5+ years as a DevOps Engineer
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Python
- Kubernetes is highly desired
- Matillion and Snowflake experience is nice to have
- Other programming languages such as Azure AD Java, Powershell and C# are all nice to have
- Cloud/hybrid cloud
- Strong problem solver
- Strong analytic and technical skills
- Troubleshooting experience
- CI/CD pipelines and tooling
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Full COVID vaccination status
