This government agency uses data and behavioural insights to drive improvements with government and providing services to NSW. We are looking for someone to start ASAP for a 6-month contract paying up to $1100 / Day inc. Super. This role is located in Chatswood.   
 
About the Role
The Data Modeller will utilize capabilities and experience in business intelligence and data analytics to lead the implementation of the BI and Reporting Solution (Microsoft Power BI) for the project. This includes working with a range of stakeholders, branch, vendors and service delivery teams to develop operational and management reports and strategic surveillance insights.
 
Key accountabilities include:
  • Provide high level technical leadership throughout multidisciplinary teams for the development of business intelligence and reporting solutions. Including designing efficient data models and customization of enterprise reporting/ visualisation tools.
  • Develop and manage strategies for continuous monitoring, evaluation and improvement of data quality and completeness for RTPM and Enhanced AM solutions.
  • Engage with stakeholders across this Government Organisations System to conduct business analytic and intelligence activities as part of the Government Organisations reporting and intelligence processes
 
About You
  • High level of experience in leading and managing the engagement and reporting of BI activities
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of data modelling and analysis techniques.
  • Proven capacity to translate findings into business intelligence to support business policies.
  • Previous experience with Data Modelling in Power BI 
  • Proven ability to communicate and negotiate with stakeholders
