About the role
Responsible for change approach for the business area, encompassing people, technology and business improvement initiatives and ways of working.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of the overall transformation and change strategy for the business unit.
  • Coordinate the development of current state analysis for the branch for the various change streams and understand the impacts of change across multiple units and teams.
  • Develop, coordinate and deliver innovative, interactive and hands-on change strategies designed to build change readiness for staff and the business.
  • Develop project schedules, resource plans, risk, and issue registers for project/s, and monitor and report against progress.
  • Coordinate and manage stakeholder engagement for the project/s, consistent with the overall business unit’s strategy program.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to Project leads to achieve delivery against project and change
  • Collaborate with peers and colleagues in project and business teams responsible for delivery of project outcomes to ensure identification of change and communication requirements and development of strategies to assist with the embedding of change.
  • Demonstrate the five ways of leading behaviours to deliver organisational outcomes for our customers, our people and communities for the greater good.
  • Implementing communications strategies at Senior levels within an organisation through various activities, channels, and teams across a diverse organisation.
  • Engage with stakeholders for requirements gathering to develop current state analysis, develop action plans and implement and monitor business readiness activities.
 
About you
  • 3+ years experience in a Change Management Role; preferably worked in IT
  • NSW Government experience beneficial but not required
  • Implementing communication strategies across a diverse organisation
  • Experience in working on change or transformation projects and managing project staff and engaging with staff across different teams to facilitate outcomes.
  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications or demonstrated, relevant, equivalent professional experience
