This NSW Government agency is a major service provider who strives to deliver a more consistent and efficient experience within government. This government agency uses data and behavioural insights to drive improvements with government and providing services to NSW. We are looking for someone to start ASAP for a 12-month contract paying up to $990 per day incl Super. This role is located in Parramatta w/WFH.

About the Role
The Business Analyst leads the review and analysis of the organisational business intentions, services, processes and information that identifies changes that lead to business improvements. The role leads the development of business cases for identified project opportunities, ensuring they support the organisational strategy and document measurable and quantifiable benefits.

Responsibilities:
  • Delivering major business solutions (including application testing and implementation).
  • Proven experience gathering high quality requirements and working closely with project teams and vendors to ensure successful solution design and project delivery.
  • Highly effective stakeholder management skills with examples in gaining an understanding of business processes.
  • Strong experience in embedding change and working closely with non-technical stakeholders to ensure high levels of adoption.
  • Experience in the developing and updating of reports and dashboards using business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power Bi, Tableau.
  • Creating and implementing precise management plans for every project, with attention to transparent communication at all levels.
  • Leading the identification and definition of business needs and problems and assess.
  • Determining and developing user requirements for systems in production, to ensure maximum usability through user stories and agile methodology.
  • Facilitating meetings and workshops.
  • Well-developed analytical capabilities, identifying trends and insights through the interrogation of large data sets and complex information.

About You
  • Experience with Agile and JIRA.
  • Experience with Power Bi and Tableau.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and facilitation skills.
  • Per NSW Government policy all employees must be fully vaccinated.
