This NSW government agency is a major service provider who strives to deliver a more consistent and innovative experience within the development of New South Wales government. Our client is looking for a Admin Support Officer to support a Business Unit with administrational duties relating to local Government grants.
About the Role
- Undertake a range of administrative tasks including records management, procuring goods and services, data entry and onboarding of new staff to support the operation of the Branch.
- Support Procurement Owners in management of the end-to-end procurement process for all programs/projects in compliance with relevant policies, standards and procedures
- Support Program Delivery in the data entry of project and program information into financial systems and other general program financial administration support
- Provide quality and efficient administrative support in prioritising requests and initiating action, exercising discretion and maintaining confidentiality
- Monitor, implement and evaluate administrative practices, systems and procedures within the Branch to optimise efficiency and deliver quality outcomes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Administrative skills, knowledge and experience.
- Ability to balance competing demands and expectations of the position while maintaining optimal service provision.
- Previous Government experience desirable
