Are you a skilled litigator with a passion for regulatory work?

We’re currently seeking two experienced  Lawyers (Grade 7/8)  to join our legal team within NSW Government. You’ll be working in a fast-paced, high-stakes regulatory environment where your legal expertise will help support critical public sector outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clear, practical legal advice and representation.
  • Manage and conduct litigation matters efficiently and independently.
  • Draft court documents, legal advice, briefing notes, submissions, and correspondence.
  • Analyze legislation and evidence to support your work.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to deliver timely legal solutions.
  • Brief counsel where necessary to support positive outcomes.
About You:
  • 2–3 years Post-Admission Experience (PAE) as a Solicitor.
  • Strong experience in litigation, preferably in a government or regulatory context.
  • Current  NSW Practicing Certificate  (must include Government Legal Practitioner).
  • Based in  Greater Sydney  and able to attend the McKell office 3–4 days a week.
  • Excellent communication, drafting and research skills
