About the Role
Case manage more complex matters as allocated in order to support members of the public exercise their rights to information access and privacy and implement approaches to identify and resolve issues promptly and effectively. Provide day to day guidance and supervision to members of the Review and Investigation Team.
Manage and resolve complaints; reviews; conduct investigations and lead proactive regulatory compliance activities effectively and efficiently in accordance with relevant legislation and Commission policies and procedures.
- Manage a high-volume caseload of regulatory reviews and investigations
- Guide and supervise team members to deliver timely, quality outcomes
- Provide expert advice and prepare legal and regulatory reports
- Engage with stakeholders to resolve sensitive and complex issues
- Contribute to policy development, project delivery, and continuous improvement
- Tertiary qualifications or demonstrated experience in law, investigations, or regulatory compliance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on practical outcomes
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Experience managing legal or regulatory casework under legislative frameworks
- A collaborative approach and a passion for public service
