Senior Project Manager

Ashdown is partnering with a leading Western Sydney Higher Education Organisation to assist in sourcing multiple Senior Project Managers to work on business facing strategic transformation initiatives across various areas of the organisation. While there may be ICT elements involved in these projects, this is not an IT Delivery role and is more focused on strategic business transformation. As part of an established PMO, you'll be leading end to end delivery of these projects encompassing, leadership, stakeholder engagement, governance/compliance, risk/issue management. 

The right person for this role will be a seasoned Project Manager, ideally with Higher Education experience, who has delivered business transformation projects in large scale, complex contexts. You'll need to be well versed in benefits realisation, change management and portfolio governance as well as proficient with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira and PowerBI. You'll also need a formally recognised PM Certification such as PMP, Prince2 or AgilePM etc. 

This position will initially be a six-month contract, with the potential to extend dependant on budgetary and scope constraints. The role offers a modern, Western Sydney based location and $1000-1250/day inclusive of Super.
