Overview
The Senior Procurement Specialist partners with the business to deliver high-quality procurement, sourcing and contract management services. The role drives value for money, ensures strong governance, and leads end-to-end sourcing and supplier management across assigned categories.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to provide commercial and procurement advice.
- Lead end-to-end sourcing from strategy through to contract award.
- Develop and deliver category strategies and sourcing initiatives.
- Manage contracts, panels and supplier performance across the lifecycle.
- Support negotiations, pricing reviews, variations, renewals and dispute resolution.
- Track supplier performance, benefits and compliance outcomes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes and tools.
- Support team delivery and regulatory / reporting requirements.
- Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years' procurement or commercial experience in large, complex environments.
- Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing, category management and contract management.
- Proven stakeholder management and negotiation capability.
- Strong analytical, documentation and commercial acumen.
- CIPS (or equivalent) desirable.
