About the Role

Now this government agency is looking for an experienced People Business Partner to help us drive meaningful workforce change, support senior leaders, and enable the people strategy for a high-performing, future-focused business.

Key accountabilities include
  • Provide expert advice on people and workforce matters to support leadership and organisational growth.
  • Partner with People Experience teams to develop and implement capability and change strategies.
  • Lead initiatives in workforce planning, succession, employee retention and organisational design.
  • Support business transformation by managing change and minimising disruption.
  • Identify and address workforce risks and capability gaps to help the organisation meet its goals.
  • Build strong relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Balance diverse stakeholder needs while delivering high-quality, timely support.
  • Stay up to date with evolving business needs to provide relevant people solutions.
  • Promote and model leadership behaviours aligned with our values and commitment to positive outcomes.
About You
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or demonstrated equivalent professional experience that is relevant and substantial.
  • Proven experience working with HR policies, practices, and systems, preferably within a public sector or government environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with business leaders, HR colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently, meet deadlines and balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
