- $1120 - $1232 per day (Including superannuation) + GST
- 24 months (12 months + 12 month extension)
- Sydney CBD 2x days per week / WFH 3x days per week (Hybrid)
- Baseline-level security clearance required (NV1 preferable)
Working in a highly skilled team of IT and Business professionals, this role will focus on performing the ongoing operation, management and maintenance of the client’s Linux hosts (spread mostly across Ubuntu/RHEL, for this Government organisation. This is a highly exciting role to work with some of the best in the business in an innovative and collaborative environment. This initial contract will be for 12-months with a 12-month extension and can be performed working remotely from home 3x days per week, with 2x days per week required in the client’s CBD based offices.
Essential Skills required
- 12 + years’ Linux experience in total
- 8+ years’ experience of managing a large fleet of Linux hosts (650+)
- 5+years Ansible automation experience
- Proven experience of the following: VMware Virtualisation, Backup (cohesity), - Monitoring (Splunk, Zabbix), Web proxying etc.
- Excellent communications and stakeholder engagement skills
Desirable Skills
- Previous Government, Banking or Telco experience
- Certified in LINUX
- A deep understanding of Linux, including; networking, package management, Auditd, SElinux.
