Ashdown is partnering with a Federal Government Department based in North Sydney to assist in finding their newest Senior ICT Service Officer!
In this role you will support the enhancement of scientific laboratories by improving the performance and usability of an air-gapped Local Area Network (LAN). You'll be engaging with laboratory staff to understand operational needs, map data flows and implement digital solutions that modernise workflows and improve data management.
You’ll maintain software and licence inventories, liaise with vendors, and contribute to procurement planning. Additionally, you’ll help develop procedures and documentation to support secure and sustainable digital practices across the organisation.
The right person for this position will be someone with a minimum of 3 years' experience supporting the delivery of ICT enhancement projects in relation to instrument control software, data mapping/storage, workflow management or information management systems. Experience supporting ICT operations within scientific labs is also crucial, as well as an active Baseline Security Clearance.
