Senior Flood Modelling Specialist

Ashdown is partnering with a local government client based in Sydney's CBD to assist in finding a Senior Flood Modelling Specialist for a 9 Month Part Time Contract. 

Working Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, you'll provide technical advice on hydrologic and hydraulic modelling (e.g TUFLOW) to support flood studies and capital works investigations. You'll provide specialist advice on inputs, methodologies and results interpretation, as well as review and assess consultant modelling reports to ensure compliance to industry standards. You will also prepare high quality maps and technical documentation such as Floodplain Risk Management Studies and Plans. 

Earning $100/hr + Super for the duration of the contract, there may be options to extend or transition to a permanent role following this period.
