About the Role:
We are seeking two experienced Senior DevOps Engineers with proven AWS Rosa or OpenShift experience to join our client's dynamic team for a major migration project. This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in migrating and managing container orchestration platforms while driving DevSecOps best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of container orchestration platforms, with a focus on AWS ROSA or OpenShift.
- Leverage strong Kubernetes expertise to optimize deployment, scaling, and operations of containerized applications.
- Implement and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines, incorporating infrastructure as code (Terraform knowledge preferred).
- Drive DevSecOps initiatives, ensuring security best practices are integrated within development workflows, with strong experience in GitLab preferred.
- Manage and optimize AWS Cloud infrastructure and associated data services including RDS, Redis, RabbitMQ, SQS, DynamoDB, and S3.
- Administer Linux-based environments with proficiency.
- Develop and troubleshoot containerized applications (Java/Kotlin, Node.js, etc.) running within Docker or OCI-compliant containers.
- Provide technical training and mentorship to internal teams through “train-the-trainer” initiatives.
- Deep understanding of container orchestration and management platforms, especially AWS ROSA or OpenShift.
- Extensive hands-on Kubernetes experience.
- Strong background in DevSecOps practices and tooling, with GitLab preferred.
- Proven experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines; Terraform knowledge is a plus.
- Solid AWS cloud expertise, including working knowledge of data services such as RDS, Redis, RabbitMQ, SQS, DynamoDB, and S3.
- Proficient in Linux operating systems.
- Skilled in Docker and OCI container standards.
- Experience with containerized application development and troubleshooting (Java/Kotlin, Node.js, or similar).
- Excellent communication and training abilities, capable of upskilling internal teams.
