Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Azure | MS Copilot Studio)

My client, a major Australian Federal Government is looking for a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with proven Azure and MS Copilot Studio experience for a new 2 year project, based in Sydney and working from home (Hybrid). As a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll design, deploy, and maintain cutting-edge cloud and AI environments that power my client's digital services.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure Azure cloud environments.
• Develop and manage AI-powered solutions and agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio and Azure AI Foundry.
• Lead cloud migration and adoption projects, driving operational efficiency and innovation.
• Build reliable integration workflows with tools like Azure Logic Apps, Service Bus, and Managed File Transfer.
• Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting for cloud and AI systems.
• Collaborate across IT, business units, and vendors to deliver effective digital solutions.

Skills required:

• 8+ years Proven experience in cloud engineering(Azure preferred).
• Strong technical skills in cloud architecture, AI design, and deployment.
• Proven experience of designing and deploying AI agents (MS Copilot) and AI Solutions (Azure Foundry)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Desirable Skills

• Certifications in Microsoft Cloud, Azure  or AI technologies
• Previous experience of large complex environments (Banking, Telco Government)
