Ashdown People has partnered with a core NSW State Government Organisation to assist in sourcing their newest Role Description Writer! 

This is a great public sector opportunity with 3-4 days WFH that would suit an experienced HR professional looking for a contract role. 

Day to day, you'd be responsible for: 

  • Writing engaging, detailed and compliant position descriptions that meet organisation needs and are aligned with the relevant frameworks. 
  • Working with SME's, business representatives and similar stakeholders to gather, assess and analyse job related information. 
  • Working collaboratively with other parts of the organisation to ensure compliance with frameworks, naming conventions etc. 
  • Providing specialist advice on proposed job design concepts, position descriptions and corporate compliance. 
  • Undertake research and analysis. 
The successful candidate will possess:
  • Experience in writing role descriptions
  • Job analysis and consultation skills
  • Knowledge of job design principles
  • 3–5 years' experience in a HR, Org Design, Workforce Planning or Classification role. 
  • Public sector experience
  • Organisational change exposure
  • Document management experience
