This role is for an initial 3 month contract based in Sydney CBD.
Your responsibilities:
- Conduct initial digitisation under the guidance of the Senior Records Management Advisor to ensure the processes are fit-for-purpose – includes recalling files from storage (if applicable) preparing files in line with procedures, scanning files, conducting QA, storing digitised files.
- - Process on-site hardcopy records: Multiple crates and boxes of hardcopy records exist on site because of the building re-alignment activities that need to be processed for either storage, digitisation or disposal. Processing includes indexing and itemising, preparing spreadsheets for import to Objective, potentially applying disposal schedules and organising transfer to GRR if being sent offsite.
- Manage Hardcopy Records Data: Conduct any identified remediation on the hardcopy records dataset to ensure it is accurate.
