Primary Purpose of the Role
The Property Portfolio Officer supports the day-to-day management of a diverse and complex property and asset portfolio held by the Planning Ministerial Corporation.
 
The role assists Portfolio Managers and the Senior Manager, Property & Asset Management by undertaking operational property management activities, site inspections, stakeholder engagement and due diligence to ensure assets are managed effectively, safely and in line with legislative and policy requirements.
Key Accountabilities
  • Undertake site visits across Greater Sydney to meet with contractors, customers and stakeholders in relation to property management matters.
  • Assist with the procurement of goods and services, records management activities and other operational tasks as directed.
  • Complete due diligence activities to support the effective maintenance of assets, including identifying site issues and risks.
  • Assist in managing and delivering day-to-day property and asset portfolio activities, including inspections, maintenance coordination and issue resolution.
  • Support the oversight of a diverse, distributed and complex portfolio of properties and assets.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate property and asset data within relevant systems and records.
  • Support stakeholder engagement, consultation and information sharing to enable effective portfolio management outcomes.
Essential Skills and Experience (Inherent Requirements)
  • Demonstrated experience working in a property, asset or portfolio management environment.
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with contractors, customers and stakeholders.
  • Well-developed organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a changing work environment.
  • Willingness and capacity to undertake regular site visits across Greater Sydney.
  • Current Class C Driver Licence (essential).
  • MUST HAVE Working With Children Check (or obtain)
