Project Engineer
| 3 months contract
About the Role
Will be responsible for the procurement, delivery, and contract administration of traffic infrastructure and maintenance projects across regional NSW. You’ll be working closely with both internal teams and external contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high safety and quality standards.
Key accountabilities include:
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of road, bridge, and traffic infrastructure projects
- Prepare project briefs, technical specifications, and tender documentation
- Engage and manage service providers and panel contractors
- Oversee cost and contract management processes
- Ensure strict compliance with WHS, environmental, and quality standards
- Foster collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholder
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
- 5+ Years of experience
- Proven experience in project and/or contract management
- Strong ability to work in cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities
- Experience in preparing tender documentation and administering contracts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Current and valid Australian driver’s license
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as required
- 5th largest supplier to the NSW Government
