Overview
The Infrastructure & Operations Business Unit, within the Technology Group, is seeking a Project Administrator to support the delivery of infrastructure services for a major government program.
Infrastructure & Operations manages enterprise servers, networking, End User Compute (EUC), telephony and operational support. This role will provide administrative and coordination support to multiple project teams delivering key technology services including Device as a Service, networking, mobile devices and telephony platforms.
The successful candidate will work within the Infrastructure & Operations project team, reporting day-to-day to the Project Manager, with corporate reporting to the Director, Infrastructure & Operations. This role suits someone who is organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative and coordination support to the Infrastructure & Operations project team
- Prepare and maintain project documentation including reports, meeting minutes, activity logs, registers and task trackers
- Maintain project documentation configuration and compliance to support project governance and controls
- Assist with procurement processes and vendor coordination
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to support project delivery
- Support supplier workforce onboarding activities
- Provide general project administration support as required
- Contribute to a safe working environment in line with organisational work health and safety standards
- Previous experience in Project Administration or Project Support roles, ideally within ICT or infrastructure environments
- Exposure to Infrastructure & Operations environments including End User Compute, networking or telephony(advantageous but not essential)
- Strong organisation and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience working with vendors and suppliers
- Strong computer and documentation skills
