Procurement Manager
Location: Macquarie Park or Burwood, NSW
Contract:  contract through to October 2026
Rate:$850 - $1,100 per day + super
Work Arrangement: Hybrid - 50% work from home
Start Date: ASAP
 
About the Role
 
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to support the delivery of strategic sourcing and procurement activities within a fast-paced and commercially complex environment. This contract will play a key role in driving procurement outcomes, ensuring compliance with NSW Government procurement frameworks, and delivering value-for-money solutions across a range of categories and stakeholders.
 
This role will suit a procurement professional with strong stakeholder engagement skills, experience managing end-to-end sourcing activities, and the ability to operate confidently within a government or highly regulated environment.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver end-to-end goods and services procurement activities from strategy development through to contract execution
  • Develop procurement strategies, tender documentation, evaluation plans, evaluation reports, and contract documentation
  • Manage RFT processes and act as the process manager/non-scoring convenor for tender evaluations
  • Facilitate tenderer communications and participate in tender debriefs
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with TfNSW procurement templates, accreditation requirements, governance, and probity standards
  • Work closely with project teams and stakeholders to deliver compliant and value-for-money procurement outcomes
  • Utilise procurement systems and tools such as SAP Ariba (desirable)
About You
  • Demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end procurement and strategic sourcing activities
  • Strong understanding of NSW Government procurement frameworks, policies, and legislative requirements
  • Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships in commercially sensitive environments
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and influencing skills
  • Ability to work autonomously while managing competing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Experience preparing procurement documentation, contracts, and sourcing reports
  • Tertiary qualifications in Procurement, Supply Chain, Contract Management, Commerce, or related discipline, or equivalent experience
