A large and community-focused organisation is seeking a capable and motivated Human Resources Officer to support the delivery of key HR services across recruitment, employee relations, and workforce development.
This is a great opportunity for a skilled HR professional to contribute to high-quality people practices in a collaborative and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver accurate and timely HR advice to internal stakeholders.
  • Manage recruitment processes, including advertising, compliance checks, and onboarding.
  • Process a range of HR documentation, including parental leave, employment confirmations, salary progressions, and exit letters.
  • Contribute to the review, development, and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and intranet content.
  • Support corporate programs such as induction, employee development, and the workforce management plan.
  • Maintain HR systems and prepare reports on key HR metrics and trends.
  • Represent HR on selection panels and internal committees where required.
  • Assist in organising recruitment and community engagement events (e.g. career expos, school programs).
  • Undertake special projects and research tasks aligned with organisational goals.
About You The successful candidate will have:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or a related field (Diploma or above), or equivalent relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience in recruitment, HR operations, and employee relations
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Current knowledge of contemporary HR practices and legislation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn internal systems quickly
  • A flexible, team-oriented approach and ability to work in a dynamic environment
  • A current Class C driver’s licence
Desirable:
  • Knowledge of Commonwealth, State and Local Government legislation impacting HR
