Contract Role for an Insurance Company with the NSW Government

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support senior leadership in a fast-paced, corporate environment. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of executive teams through high-level administrative and coordination support.

  • Location: Sydney CBD
  • Duration:  2nd of June Until 10 July 2026
  • Hours: 7.6 hours per day (38 hours per week)
  • Work arrangement and potential for extension to be confirmed
Rates
  • PAYG:$480 – $530 per day + super
  • ABN:$480 – $530 per day (flat rate)
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage complex executive diaries, including scheduling, prioritisation, and resolving conflicts
  • Monitor and triage inboxes, highlighting urgent matters and supporting decision-making
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding for team members
  • Provide high-level administrative support across executive functions
  • Arrange travel, including bookings, approvals, and itineraries
  • Support event coordination (logistics, catering, venues, materials)
  • Process invoices, purchase requisitions, and procurement activities
  • Manage corporate card expenses and reconciliations
  • Coordinate follow-ups and manage sensitive information with discretion
  • Collaborate with executive support teams to improve processes and efficiencies
  • Assist with project-related tasks as required
About You
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in Executive Assistant or senior administrative roles
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities on behalf of senior stakeholders
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • High level of discretion and ability to manage confidential information
  • Strong problem-solving capability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
Qualifications
  • Relevant qualification in administration or equivalent experience
