Customer Contact Team Operator
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Customer Contact Team Operators
for a 3-month contract role based in the Sydney CBD. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, delivering exceptional service to customers and stakeholders in a fast-paced, people-first team.
About the Role:
As a first point of contact, you'll be handling a high volume of incoming enquiries, directing customers to the right area and providing clear, compassionate support over the phone. You'll be part of a collaborative team that takes pride in delivering customer service excellence.
Key Details:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract Length: 3 months
- Hybrid - During the onboarding (first 1-2 weeks) contractor will be required to work from the office 5 days per week.
- Answer and triage a high volume of customer enquiries via a centralised switchboard
- Direct calls and queries to the appropriate teams or individuals
- Deliver friendly, professional, and efficient service aligned with customer excellence principles
- Participate in training to understand the organisation’s services, processes, and systems
- Previous customer service, call centre, or switchboard experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable navigating multiple systems and managing high call volumes
- Able to demonstrate empathy, professionalism, and a solution-focused attitude
