We are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator / Project Manager to support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of civil infrastructure and community projects.
You will administer construction and professional-services contracts while coordinating projects from planning through to completion. Projects range in value from approximately $10,000 to $70 million and include roads, drainage, bridges, buildings and recreational spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer AS2124 and AS4000 contracts across civil infrastructure projects.
- Prepare contract documentation, correspondence, notices and project records.
- Assess and process claims, variations, extension-of-time requests and payments.
- Monitor contractual obligations, performance, risks and emerging disputes.
- Coordinate projects to achieve agreed budgets, deadlines and quality standards.
- Manage procurement, capital expenditure, resource allocation and progress reporting.
- Work closely with internal teams, contractors, consultants and service providers.
- Participate in contractor meetings and undertake site inspections when required.
- Identify delivery risks and provide advice to project and program leadership.
- Improve contract administration systems, documentation and reporting processes.
You will bring:
- At least eight years' relevant experience in contract administration, project coordination or civil infrastructure delivery.
- Strong experience administering AS2124 and AS4000 contracts.
- Experience with civil works, construction services and professional consulting contracts.
- Knowledge of roads, drainage, utilities, buildings or recreational infrastructure.
- Experience delivering complex, long-term projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Strong project management, commercial, negotiation and risk-management capabilities.
- Excellent written communication, organisation and stakeholder-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
- A qualification in construction, civil engineering, project management or a related discipline.
- A valid White Card and current Class C driver's licence.
