This role is primarily responsible for the implementation and activation of the Council's commercial insurance arrangements to ensure the protection of assets and that claims are managed in a timely and accurate manner to minimise liability and costs.
The incumbent will comply with all applicable legislation, regulations, and other laws, including the NSW Work Health Safety Act 2011, Work Health Safety Regulation 2017, and the Council's Safety system.
Essential
- 5 years minimum experience in insurance claims handling
- Computer literacy.
Desirable
- Certificate IV of General Insurance
