Business Analyst
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the delivery of digital solutions within a complex business environment. You will work closely with stakeholders and technical teams to understand business needs, define requirements and translate them into clear, actionable outcomes.
This role will suit a Business Analyst who is comfortable working across both business and technology teams and can manage competing priorities while ensuring solutions remain aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate workshops and requirements gathering sessions with key stakeholders.
- Analyse existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Gather, analyse and document functional and technical requirements.
- Develop clear user stories and contribute to backlog management.
- Translate complex business needs into requirements that technical teams can deliver against.
- Maintain traceability between business requirements and delivered solutions.
- Support testing and validation activities to ensure solutions meet requirements.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders, delivery teams and technical specialists.
- Help ensure technology solutions align with broader business strategies and objectives.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 4+ years' experience working as a Business Analyst or in a related role.
- Proven experience in business analysis within digital delivery environments.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and facilitation skills.
- Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments, including user stories and backlog management.
- An understanding of relational database and client-server concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex requirements and competing priorities.
- Experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- The ability to confidently translate business requirements into clear technical requirements for delivery teams.
You will be a proactive and collaborative Business Analyst who can operate comfortably between business stakeholders and technical teams. You will bring strong judgement, attention to detail and the ability to understand complex business problems and develop practical solutions.
