Aboriginal Community Partnership and Strategic projects Consultant

Fantastic position for an independent consultant to work on an initial 8 month contract as a Community Partnerships Projects  and strategic projects Consultant. This is a hit the ground running. So you need to have the proven experience.

This role is a high-level support to the Executive Director, Community Partnerships and contribute to impactful work within Aboriginal communities across NSW.

You will:

• Act as a trusted liaison and provide executive-level support to the Executive Director.
• Manage and/or contribute to a range of diverse projects across the directorate, oversee project tracking, meeting preparation, and administrative support.
• Manage correspondence, prepare briefing notes, and coordinate stakeholder engagement.
• Facilitate communication across teams and ensure the seamless flow of information.
• Project management and coordination of highly complex and sensitive projects across NSW Aboriginal communities

• Excellent knowledge of government workings, policies and procedures
• Exceptional communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with diverse peoples, particularly Aboriginal people
• Skills and knowledge in key areas eg Emergency Management, Community Infrastructure, Place based programs, social policy and strategy
