Q. Why/ How did you end up in recruitment
I graduated with a degree in Business and jumped into a two-year Grad program in the logistics industry. The program far exceeded what I had anticipated and the training I had received from different work rotations, networking and even my mentor was monumental. Despite this, I knew I was not passionate about the industry and recognised I had to explore my options. I was confident my greatest strengths were my people and communication skills and luckily, I stumbled upon Ashdown in recruitment. A challenging, dynamic and rewarding industry. I found this group of people who were passionate, hardworking, driven and at times a bit eccentric, all qualities in which I possess and my gut told me to join them.
Q. Hobby/ interest outside of work
I have a range of hobbies but mostly I enjoy the outdoors and being active. On a sunny day, you will find me either at the beach, or venturing on a new hike to get some amazing views or swim in a watering hole. I also play oztag twice a week. I think it is the perfect social sport as it is an excuse to see my friends and keep active. But most of all it satisfies my competitive nature as I love to compete!
Q. Field in which you specialise
Recruiting in Information Technology and Data Analytics.
