Q. Why/ How did you end up in recruitment
I’ve bounced around a bit in terms of my career. I initially graduated with a Bachelor of Management, majoring in Events and then started a role in Graphic Design and Sales. As much as I loved the Graphic Design element, I felt that I mostly thrived in Sales. I love engaging with other people and thrive mostly working collaboratively within a team. I saw an advertisement for a Graduate Consultant role come up with Ashdown People and I thought I’d apply and broaden my skills within the Recruitment realm. So far — I’m loving it!
Q. Hobby/ interest outside of work
I love anything to do with sports. I played a variety of sports throughout my schooling- volleyball, touch, Oz Tag and tennis, which I competedprofessionally in. I have however put my racquets away and now enjoy the outdoors and anything by the water!!
